WORKERS TAKE ACTION AGAINST AMAZON FLEX

2026 MBR – Delegates Stand Firm for Better Sector Standards in the Transport Industry.

In November, Delegates from across NSW once again descended at West HQ for the TWU’s 2026 MBR, where we analysed results from bargaining surveys for the fight for 2026, and heard firsthand accounts of poor safety practices in Transport.

The messages that members were sending the Union was loud and clear: They’re ready to fight for safer, fairer workplaces in 2026.

The TWU also joined members in taking action against Amazon Flex, who the Union insists must pay fair wages, respect workers’ right to a voice at work, and improve their practices. In 2026, the TWU will fight to set better sector standards across Transport.

Australian workers have suffered because Amazon have been ruthless in cutting back on standards, wages, and taxes – doing all that they can in service of profit.

They have suffocated workers and small business alike, but today TWU members are once again taking a stand and letting them know that we’re not going anywhere.
