As we head towards 26, TWU officials and delegates have continued working to get our members their best footing. We’ve seen continued action this week across the industry, and members have seen some notable wins. Just to name a few, Menzies members voted on their enterprise agreement, and after weeks of relentless solidarity, Mondiale members are seeing even more progress in their negotiations. We’re continuing to host active delegate’s meetings onsite in Minchinbury. Today, we met with waste delegates and we’ll be meeting with more from across the industry next week. |

With waste delegates, we discussed the importance of consolidation and unity as we move into the industry’s fight next year, while we also celebrated the passing of recent waste regulation and legal reform..
Following recent training sessions in the Wollongong and Minchinbury offices, we’ll be continuing to run training next week as well.
This week, we’ve seen the International Transport Workers’ Federation Safe Rates Week of Action play out on the world stage.
As I shared with you all in last week’s E-News, the TWU’s fight for Safe Rates has grown into a global movement – our innovation is now recognised across borders.
I continue to be proud that the Transport Workers’ Union has been a global leader in this reform – it’s a shining example of our relentless advocacy, hard-fought policy wins, and the tenacity we’ll be bringing Towards 26.

Update for Members on Tax Statements
As many members will be aware, recently the TWU transitioned to a new membership system. We are pleased to note that feedback and operations have been largely positive so far.
With the end of financial year looming however, the union would like to note that 2024/2025 Tax Statements will be issued in mid-July, as opposed to the beginning of the month.
For any urgent Tax Statement requests, please contact 1800 729 909, or email info@twunsw.org.au
