| The TWU is in negotiations with many companies as the 2026 campaign reaches Winter. With well over 200 Enterprise Agreements across road and aviation expiring this year, TWU Officials, Delegates and Members are fighting to end the fragmentation that has plagued this industry and help slow the race to the bottom ahead of 2029, 2032 and beyond. Across road and aviation, it has been great to see members back their bargaining teams, and importantly show solidarity ahead of winter as we draw deeper into negotiations. |

Over the last week, we’ve caught up with many Delegates, from Bevchain, Linfox, Toll and FedEx to update them on negotiations and share details about important industry updates, such as our crucial fuel supply chain win in the FWC last month, quite literally changing precedent to ensure clients are accountable for fuel costs in their supply chains.
Already, this is making a difference to workers and owner drivers.
But there is still much work to do this year. Our Delegates are ready to stand together to fight for better and fairer deals from their employers.n 2026 so far.

We post frequent updates on social media about our activity across all sectors. You can find posts every week on our TWU NSW Facebook and Instagram pages.
We won’t give up on our fight for standards workers deserve. As we close out Autumn and head into Winter, the TWU stands ready to back transport workers.
In unity,
Richard Olsen

Union Win: Disciplinary Action Withdrawn
This week, the TWU along with Boral Delegates fronted up to the industrial relations commission of NSW, following the lodgement of a dispute.
Boral had intended to issue TWU delegates with a warning letter for taking a day off to meet and discuss Boral’s proposal for a new contract determination.
As a result of this week’s proceedings, Boral have agreed to withdraw all disciplinary action.
Congratulations to the TWU legal team for wins such as these.
