| As I write to you now, we have entered the four-day Easter long weekend period in New South Wales. As we know, many transport workers continue to work throughout public holidays and periods such as these. For those of you having a much-deserved break, I wish you and your families a happy and restful weekend. For those of you on the roads and in the skies, please prioritise your safety as you keep Australia moving and receive your penalty rate entitlements. |

Elsewhere this week, TWU members have continued to move forward on endorsing their claims and meeting with officials as we progress further into the 2026 campaign.
Once we emerge from this holiday period, the Union will be right back in campaign-mode and continuing the historic fight we’ve set for ourselves this year. For those of you part of the campaign, please look out for further communications from your delegates and officials in the coming weeks.

Once again, I wish you all a safe and restful Easter period.
I look forward to seeing you all again soon as we fight for Our Roads, Our Skies, and Our Future.
In unity,
Richard Olsen
TWU NSW Secretary
