TWU Enews

Check out this week’s TWU NSW Enews: Today, a thousand aviation ground workers began 4-hour stoppages for decent, well-paid jobs. While this happened across Australia, the NSW action was a mighty display of union strength.

Dnata Stoppages

It was a privilege to march alongside these resilient workers. They have suffered the standards-eroding tactics of Alan Joyce and the fracturing of the Qantas supply chain to push down wages and conditions.

They have decided enough is enough. I congratulate the delegates of Dnata for their staunch and tireless efforts to win a secure and fair Enterprise Agreement.

I congratulate the delegates of Dnata for their staunch and tireless efforts to win a fair Enterprise Agreement, that puts fair pay and job security at the heart of aviation jobs.

This is a strong beginning to a longer fight to set standards across the industry. Our success sets us up for our fight for a Safe and Secure Skies Commission to end bad practices across the Aviation sector. Again, congratulations to these workers. We are with you all the way.
