Our industry is in crisis. The Federal Budget delivered by the Morrison Government last week again failed to deliver for the aviation industry and in particular aviation workers.
The TWU have drawn together key stakeholders from across the industry including delegates, employers, politicians, academics, other aviation unions and the ACTU for an emergency online summit.
Together this group will talk through what a national aviation plan should look like to guide the industry through the Covid crisis and ensure stability into the future.
Aviation is being hit by global events and we need a robust plan that will ensure it is not aviation workers that pay the price each time.
WHEN: The aviation crisis summit will be held online over zoom on Thursday 15th October – at 2pm AEDT.
