In NSW, aviation workers have endorsed a national plan they want the Federal Government to implement seeing it take a greater role in regulating the industry.
Why? Because a TWU Survey has shown the shocking statistics that 70% of aviation workers have been stood down from their jobs with almost 40% stating they have no income.
The survey results came out as aviation workers held a rally at Sydney Airport demanding access to JobKeeper Payment; support for Virgin as the bidding process narrows; and for the Federal Government to implement a national plan for the aviation industry.
The Federal Government need to stop their “hands off” approach to aviation in Australia.

The way aviation workers have been treated in 2020 has caused harm to families.
Transport Workers around the country are demanding the Federal Government supports the aviation industry with a national plan for a safer and fairer future.
