| Our 2025 Spring Journal was released this week – more about this below. Next Thursday, the Transport Workers’ Union will be attending the SafeWork NSW Health and Safety Representatives Conference. The TWU is not merely an attendee at this conference, we are a leader – as was seen in 2024 and again this year. The Transport Workers’ Union has a unique amount of experience in health and safety, even amongst the union movement. |
| We know that Transport is the most dangerous industry in Australia, and our Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) make our industry safer. The TWU is proud to host multiple HSR training sessions a year, and have multiple workplace wins through HSR delegates in 2025 alone, but our best-practice training, ran by Assistant-Secretary Marija Marsic and Emily Armstrong, makes us industry leaders. SafeWork NSW, two years in a row, have conducted interviews with TWU HSRs for their own videos on workplace health and safety. Next week will once again be a testament to the work that our members do to make their workplaces safer. |
